Grampians Wine Twilight Tastings- Halls Gap
Your first night of the long weekend deserves to be unforgettable! Join us on Friday, 24th January 2025, from 5 PM to 8 PM at the Halls Gap Pop-Up Park (right beside the ice cream shop) for a relaxed evening of good vibes and great wine.
Grab your mates, bring your favourite picnic rug, and book a table at one of Halls Gap’s amazing local restaurants—all within walking distance. Then come and sip on the finest wines from the Grampians while soaking up the chilled summer atmosphere.

January Long Weekend
Start planning your Long weekend. We have two special Long Weekend tastings for $10 and $15 as well as local cheeses and produce available to select from our ‘ Pick a Platter’ menu to share with friends.
We are open Saturday 10 am – 5pm, Sunday and Monday 11am – 4pm
Enjoy listening to local musician Dave Nicholson on Sunday afternoon. Pick a platter picnic menu available all weekend.
Our $10 tasting brings together wines from our Great Western and Concongella ranges.
Our $15 tasting gives us the opportunity to showcase a new release or special back vintage wine alongside the current Great Western and Concongella wines.

This Friday is popup pizza night and we’re excited to let you know we have partnered up with Great Western Granary to enjoy their delicious local made pizzas!
In addition to the pick up option at the bakery, they will also deliver their signature 72 hour slow fermented sourdough pizzas to Best’s Stables Cellar Door on Friday at 7pm so you can enjoy a sourdough pizza with a glass of wine or a cocktail.
Get your orders in for their full menu by Thursday close of business, and if you wish for your pizza to be delivered to Bests please select a 7pm delivery and put in “Delivery to Bests” in the comments section. Order from the Garage Pizza menu HERE
You can also order on Friday night by 6:30 from our limited menu for a 7pm delivery to Bests Cellar door.
Summer Tasting Experience
We are pleased to share our ‘Tastes of Summer’ with the seasonal Summer tasting experience available from February 1st – March 31st, 2025 and will feature five wines from our Great Western and Concongella varietals range.
Savour the 2024 Blanc de Noir, alongside the new vintages of Great Western Riesling, House Block Riesling and the Foudre Ferment Riesling. We have our unique Concongella Blanc for you to enjoy- the fruit for this field blend is harvested from our old vines: over 15o years old!

RYCT and Hamish Thomson dinner
Join Hamish Thomson and the RYCT for an exquisite 4- course dinner featuring exceptional wine pairings from Best’s Great Western.
Royal Yacht Club of Tasmanian members can enjoy this memorable evening for $100 per person, while non- members are welcome to join the dinner event for $120.

The Best’s Wines Stables dining experience (housed in historic Stables) in collaboration with Jody& Co. Catering, will feature as an exclusive offering throughout the upcoming year.

Riesling Zoom Masterclass with Hamish Thomson
Join Hamish Thomson for a special Zoom Masterclass. Hamish with take you through the intricacies of our new release 2024 Foudre Ferment Riesling, 2024 Great Western Riesling, our highly anticipated 2024 House Block Riesling plus the 2005 Great Western Riesling, now 20 years old.
Hamish absolutely loves aged Rieslings and wanted to share this one with you! This experience is designed for those of you who are unable to visit us in person and will be limited to 12 tickets only.
Please note, the ticket price includes four full bottles of wine (750ml), tasting notes and the pleasure of Hamish’s company, virtually.

Wine and Food Festival
