Keen to visit our winery but can’t find the time? We get it, and for those of you who are unable to visit us in person. Best’s Wines are excited to offer virtual tasting masterclasses for groups of 10 – 100 guests. As a 5th generation Thomson family member Hamish Thomson will take you on a journey through the history of Best’s wines, our vineyards and an introduction to the regional character of our grapes.
From organisations looking to host a staff or client event. To groups of mates who live on opposite sides of the country (or the world). Our virtual tasting masterclasses can provide a unique online experience for your group. Best’s Wines can host the event via zoom. Or you can choose to host via your preferred online meet facility, it’s our place or yours!
Best’s Wines Masterclasses
Our masterclasses can be tailored to your requirements. You can even pick the location (weather and season dependent, of course). We are excited to show you around. So if you’d enjoy a stroll through one of our vineyards, or a tour of our cellar door, let us know.
Ahead of the masterclass, 3 of Best’s outstanding wines (750ml bottles) and accompanying tasting notes will be sent to each ticket holder. It’s a great opportunity to invite some friends over to share in the experience. Once your wine has arrived, sit back and relax as Hamish takes you on a journey through the regional and personal elements that make Best’s Wines so special. Each individual wine will be discussed in detail as you sip. With opportunities to ask questions throughout the session (larger groups will require a moderator for questions).
If you fancy bringing people together, our masterclasses offer a unique and informative virtual experience for everyone. From colleagues, clients and teammates to friends and family. You and your guests don’t have to be aficionados to enjoy our tastings either. Whether you have ever heard the terms ‘hogshead’, ‘random cork oxidization’ or ‘old wood’ before, you will come away from the session a little wine wiser. Novice tasters and wine nerds alike will enjoy Hamish’s down to earth style.
Our September 2022 Masterclass
Our September 2022 Shiraz masterclass featured the award winning 2019 Bin 1 Shiraz, 2019 Hamill Shiraz and the 2019 Bin No.0 Shiraz and our virtual tastings can include wines across our entire range.
