2019 LSV Shiraz
TASTING NOTES
Colour: Deep purple with bright garnet hue.
Bouquet: Layered and enchanting blackberry, cured meats, five spices, rose petal and melon.
Palate: Vibrant plush concentrated fruit, that is medium bodied, succulent and long.
Pairing: Enjoy with Rack of Lamb
Cellaring: This wine will soften and form more complex aromatics and flavours over the next 15 years.
Vintage: A warm, dry growing season meant the vines ripened quickly and crops were lower than average. Sufficient water supply ensured the grapevines remained in good health and some February rain gave the vines a well-deserved drink and freshened them up before the grapes were harvested.

REVIEWS
2022 Halliday Wine Companion
Co-fermented with a small amount of viognier, elevating this wine into deliberate Rhône-like territory, the maker admitting to be inspired by the wines of the Old World. This is one decadent, spiced-up, juicy, red-hearted shiraz, pulsing in energy. Bush mint, pepper, anise, red and black cherry, dried raspberry aromas. A light savouriness enhances what is one impressive wine. JP Drink now to 2032. Rating: 95 points
The Real Review – Aug 2021
Youthful, dark and purple in the glass, a lovely vivid colour. Spicy, blue-fruited aromas, there’s pepper, dried herbs and a brambly fruit quality in there as well as a menthol lift. Bright and lively blueberry flavours, anise, spice, cedar and cool graphite edge. The tannins are generous and round and give definition, drive and texture. A lovely mid-weighted shiraz. AB Drink now to 2036. Rating: 93 points
James Suckling 2021
The instantly recognizable, fragrant kick of viognier adds ginger and orchard fruit to the peppery, shiraz red berries on offer here. Real cool-climate style and very expressive. The palate is beautifully round and expansive and delivers red plums and dark peaches in a fresh, succulent frame of tannin. Drink over the next seven years. Rating: 94 points

Beautiful Shiraz, medium to full bodied mouth feel. Dark fruits, plums and blackberry. There is such a harmonious balance to this wine, seductive smooth and moreish. Not a hair out of place! Amazing value at the price and should develop some interesting secondary characteristics over time. Highly recommend. Rating 5 out of 5

This ripping Shiraz is a deeply dark garnet colour with flashes of purple. A swirl reveals aromas of black cherry and blackberry compote with hints of Turkish delight, freshly cracked black peppercorns and crushed star anise. The palate lively and elegant with red and black berry fruit flavours and shows a delicate balance of acid and a shake of finely grained tannin. Fantastic with my chargrilled New York cut of grass fed beef but would go fantastically with grilled lamb cutlets with Moroccan spices.
